Issue Description

OSPF interconnection was conducted between NE40 V100R002B03D051 and the router from Vendor A. OSPF encryption was enabled and the key contained #. The OSPF neighbor relationship could not be established.

Handling Process

1. Use a password with # to conduct OSPF interconnection between the NE40 and the router from Vendor C and the OSPF neighbor relationship could be established normally.
2. Use a password with # to conduct OSPF interconnection between the router from Vendor A and the router from Vendor C and the OSPF neighbor relationship could not be established normally. Thus, it could be decided that the router from Vendor A was inappropriate in version or its configurations were incorrect.
3. Consult the configuration guide to the router from Vendor A, where it is specified that the entire encrypted text must be put in quotation marks when the special characters "#, $, and space" form part of a password.
4. Conduct the test after modifying the configurations on the router from Vendor A and the OSPF neighbor relationship could be established normally.
