Issue Description

The ME60 version at a certain site is upgraded. After the upgrade, all users cannot go online. However, before the upgrade, the services at this site are normal.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1. Check information about the license. The following information is displayed:
No License activated on master board
Active License on slave board: cfcard:/lic2007110800xx00.dat
The license is activated on the slave SMU but is not activated on the master SMU.
2. Run the license lic2007110800xx00.dat command on the device to install a license on the master SMU. Then, users can go online.

Root Cause

The site installs the license for the master SMU in slot 10 only, but does not install the license for the slave SMU in slot 9. After being upgraded, the MA5200 restarts. The system defaults slot 9 as the slot for the master SMU and slot 10 as the slot for the master SMU. As a result, the master SMU does not have a license and users cannot go online.

When installing the license for the BRAS device (MA5200G or ME60), remember to activate the license on the slave SMU.
