Six sets of equipment form an SNCP ring. The user configures four E1 services from central site A to site E. Site A uses OptiX Metro 1000 V3 equipment and site E uses OptiX Metro 100 V1R3 equipment. After the configuration, the T_ALOS alarms of sites A and E disappear and the switching services of the user are unavailable.
The tributary board FP1D of site E reports an LFA alarm. For details, see the attachment.
In the NE manager, select the tributary board on site E and select Function to select a protocol mode. Then, change the protocol mode to UF.E1.
The tributary board FPID is in frame mode and provides the frame E1. The frame mode is required for the sites at both ends. In general, the switching services of the user do not need to be set to the frame mode. The cause of this fault is that the tributary board FP1D on site A is not set to the frame mode but that on site E is set to the frame mode.
For the tributary boards in frame E1 mode, the tributary board on the peer site is also required to provide the frame feature. If there is no need to provide the frame feature, you only need to set the board to Frame.
