The NQA Test Instances Could Not Be Deleted from the NE80E Because the NQA Process Was Running

Publication Date:  2019-07-19 Views:  2 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

The version of the NE80 on the current network is VRP (R) software. Version 5.30(NE40&80 V300R002C01B599) provides the NQA function. Because the server was supplied by the third party, NAQ needed to be enabled on other devices and other related configurations on the NE80 must be deleted. However, because the process was running, the deletion failed.

Alarm Information

The following alarm is displayed when the NQA test instances are being deleted from the NE80:
[NE80-1.DCN]undo nqa test-instance Akazam ping2
The test is in progress. It can’t be deleted!

Handling Process

Run the NQA test instance:
Stop the NQA test:
Delete the NQA test instance:
[NE80-1.DCN]undo nqa test-instance Akazam ping2

Root Cause

Because the third-party server does not support one-off suspension of all processes, you need to delete the test instances from the NE80 one by one.

Such operation is rather troublesome. If the third-party software supports suspension of all NQA test instances in one time, it is recommended to stop all the test instances in the third-party software.
