After advertising the VPNv4 route 22.214.171.124 255.255.255.0 under the IPv4 VPN instance on the NE80E, the customer at a certain office runs the display current-configuration command to check the configuration and finds that the 24-bit mask 255.255.255.0 of the corresponding network segment is not displayed after the network command is executed.
The customer runs the following command:

In the configuration process, the network segment advertised is 184.108.40.206-255.255.255.0, belonging to class C address segment. The subnet mask configured is 255.255.255.0, whereas the natural mask of class C address segment is also 255.255.255.0. The subnet mask is the same as the natural mask. Therefore, the subnet mask is not displayed in the configuration script.

2. When the NE40E, NE80E, or the NE5000E of Huawei advertises route information, if the subnet mask of the network segment advertised is the same as the natural mask of this network segment, the subnet mask is not displayed in the configuration script.
