Expanding the Link Capacity of an Optical Board by Using the Configuration Wizard Function of the T2000 Fails

Issue Description

The NE software version of the OSN 3500 in a network is Originally, the SSN1SL16 board is used. Later, the SSN1SL16 board is upgraded to SSN1SL64 due to the service expansion.
When SSN1SL64 is selected on the T2000 to upgrade the link capacity by using the configuration wizard function, the T2000 displays a prompt indicating that the board type is not supported and the error code is 38664. See the attachment.

Handling Process

The NE software version of the involved OSN 3500 is, that is, V1R3. Hence, select SSN2SL64. Then, the upgrade can be successfully performed. 

Root Cause

The SSN1SL64 board that is currently delivered supports two IDs. That is, the logical board of the SSN1SL64 can be SSN1SL64 or SSN2SL64. When the OSN equipment is of version V1R6 or an earlier version, the logical board of the SSN1SL64 can only be SSN2SL64.
