Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  186 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

Q:
Why the ASRB board fails to register with the control board if the MA5616 is not installed with the ASDA daughter board?

Alarm Information

Null

Handling Process

A:
1. The voice chipset of the ASRB board needs the -48 V power supply. When detecting that the -48V power supply is abnormal, the board software considers that the hardware is faulty. Then, the board resets repeatedly and reports a message indicating that the power supply is abnormal to the control board. In this case, the board fails to register with the control board.
2. The power module that supplies -48 V power is placed on the ASDA daughter board of the MA5616 in considering the hardware. Therefore, if an ASDA daughter board is not installed, the ASRB voice board cannot be registered.
