During the integration of the OSN3500 in customer Mxx network, the customer Exx equipment can't longer communicate together.
Customer can't login their Exx equipment. However, no alarm reported on Huawei system.
1. right click the Main Topology and select NE Explorer.
2. In the function tree --> Communication --> DCC Management.
3. First change the default DCC Rate Configuration Mode to Mode 2 (40 D1-D3 & 40 D4-D12)
4. Choose the DCC Transparent Transmission management --> click on New --> and fill Source: 8-N2SLQ1-2(west port); Overhead byte at source port: D4 - D12; Sink: 13-SEP-1(east port); Overhead byte at sink port: D4-D12. And then click Ok.
and finaly the inter-communication between the two Exx comes up after the setting of the transparent transmission of their dcc management bytes on the OSN.
Before to integrate our OSN3500 between the both Exx equipments. The Exx equipment inter-communication was performed (by default, I guess) through the d4-d12 bytes of DCC overhead. while the MW radio equipment communicated together through d1-d3 bytes within the running.
Since the OSN3500 have been inserted after the Exx equipment, it was then the last one modifing the STM-1 MS-overhead before sending to radio IDU, therefore the Exx d4-d12 bytes were destroyed and replaced by the OSN bytes.
then transparent transmission has to be set on the OSN.
Commissioning engineer should pay attention to the transparent transmission configuration during when there are working on Hybrid network having Huawei
and third party equipment.
