We have MA5600T MSAN witch version V800R006C02SPC110 with HP1029T patch which is connect to the Ericsson TSS version 4.0 through Cisco router.
Customer start with integration MA5600T MSAN with TSS and checking basic service. They meet problem with outgoing call, they don't have dialing tone. While in same time incoming call are OK.
We try to delete h248 interface from MA5600T MSAN and create new one in order to locate problem and find that problem maybe is in configuration of h248 interface on MA5600T MSAN.
Also we change several h248profile parameters in order to solve problem.
In customer network we have two E// TSS in two region and because we didn't success to solve problem with changes on MA5600T MSAN, we delete h248 interface on TSS in one region and create h248 interface on TSS in another region. After we finish this procedure incoming and outgoing call was OK.
We conclude that problem is not related to MA5600T MSAN, and then it is problem on Ericsson TSS.
After investigation we found that h248 interface on two TSS was different in one line. On TSS where outgoing call not Ok, they use pretty text as coding mode, while on TSS where everything is OK customer use compact text coding.
Customer change pretty text mode to be compact and problem was solved.
Possible reason of fault can be:
1. wrong setings of h248profile on MA5600T MSAN
2. wrong setings of h248profile on Ericsson TSS
3. wrong setings of h248 interface on MA5600T MSAN
4. wrong setings of h248 interface on ericsson TSS
