Issue Description

 Q:
The AR router is connected to Nortel PBX Option 11 through the E&M module. The pin arrangement on the AR router, however, is different from that on the Cisco device.

Handling Process

 A:
1. 4-pin Type 2 is used for cable connection.
The relevant configurations on the AR router are as follows:
subscriber-line6/0
type 2
For additional configurations, see the attachment.
2. The following figure (E&M 4-pin Type 2.bmp) shows the correct pin arrangement.
3. Note that the pin arrangement on the Huawei router is different from that on the Cisco device. The arrangement of E and M, namely, pin 2 and pin 7, on the Huawei device is an inverse of that on the Cisco device.
