Issue Description

An OptiX OSN 7500 NE is upgraded to V100R008C02SPC200. A hot patch of SPH001 needs to be loaded to solve the problem mentioned in the Notice on Pre-Warning for Service Interruption Due to MSP(Multiplex Section Protection) Switching Failure on Some STM-64 Boards (NG-SDH Products)-20100809-A. The OptiX OSN 7500 is configured with the N2GSCC board and supports only board-level hot patch loading. The hot patch file for the N1SLD64 board, however, is not found in the software package.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

The hot patch file for the N1SL64 board is the same as that for the N1SLD64 board. The detailed information will be described in a Readme file in the relevant release notes.

Root Cause

The hot patch is automatically loaded to the N1SLD64 board regardless of whether the hot patch file is in the board patch package. It is recommended that you run the :patch-get-statemsg and :patch-get-info commends to check whether the hot patch is loaded successfully.
