1) The first cause was proven in the customer environment. When the TeMIP was installed on the U2000 server, the delay did not recur. Therefore, transmission delay did occur on the customer network.
2) When handling alarms, the U2000 NBI searched the board-optical NE mapping buffer for optical NEs of the boards in alarm. Because SDH NEs did not belong to any optical NEs, the information about boards on SDH NEs was not saved in the NBI buffer. As a result, the U2000 NBI could not find the corresponding SDH boards. To ensure board consistency between the buffer and actual NEs, the U2000 NBI queried the board information from the NE management process but the obtained information was saved to the buffer. For this reason, the U2000 NBI would always query board information from the NE management process for alarms generated on boards of SDH NEs. The alarm handling efficiency was brought down and delay occurred.
1.Unstable DCN network. The DCN network transmitted data with 10-minute delay.
2.Defective U2000 NBI. The NBI would query detailed board information from the NE management process when receiving alarms generated on boards or lower level resources on SDH NEs. This brought down the alarm handling efficiency. When a large number of alarms were frequently reported, delay occurred.
The U2000 NBI tries to search for information about the involved board in the board-board type mapping buffer. This buffer saves information about all boards, including boards of SDH NEs.
If the board is found, the U2000 NBI tries to search for the optical NE of the board in the board-optical NE mapping buffer. Regardless of whether the optical NE is found, the search result is returned directly and the U2000 NBI does not search the NE management process.
If the board cannot be found in the board-board type mapping buffer, the U2000 NBI tries to query information about the board from the NE management process. The buffer is then updated and a query result is returned.
