When MA5200G migrate to ME60,some static user can't get online.MA5200G software version is 2335.ME60 software version is V600R002C02SPC200.
1.search from the support.huawei.com and find a case is related to this issue.MA5200G open arp-trigger and ip-trigger by default but ME60 close that by default.
2.open arp-trigger and ip-trigger on ME60,but it still can't get online.
3.capture the packet but there is no arp broadcast.It prove that POS node don't send arp broadcast by itself.It's a passive node.
4.use static-user detect mechanism to detect the node on ME60's initiative.
The detect keyword means the ME60 actively detects whether the static user is online. If this keyword is not set, the user can go online only after the user's computer sends the ARP packet.
modify the static-user configuration:
static-user 22.214.171.124 126.96.36.199 gateway 188.8.131.52 interface GigabitEthernet8/0/0.3000 vlan 3000 domain-name pos detect
1.Some of the static-users can't get online.It's old POS node.Maybe there is some process mechanism mis-match with other device.
2.ME60 and MA5200G is different in some feature.
As ME60 use authentication-method bind static-user
1.If static-user can send arp-broadcast packet,use keyword "arp-trigger"or "ip-trigger"on the bas interface.
2.If static-user can't send broadcast by default,use the key-word "detect"one the static-user configuration.
Receiving priority to Use keyword "arp-trigger"or"ip-trigger",because if there is a lot of static-user,ME60 may send a lot of arp broadcast frequently,it may take a bad effect on the LAN.
