3.Problem description:

Customer face the Slave MPU reboot again and again when they use the spare part on NE40E.

Handling Process

Step by step reset the version back signal.

step 1. Press Ctrl+B to enter Main Menu and choice 5, set the boot file path.


Enter your choice(1-7): 1                                                      

 Boot file is cfcard:/, modify the file name if needed.   

 Please input correctly, e.g.: cfcard:/ cfcard:/V600R001C00SPC800.CC  


Step 2.return the Main menu and choice the  Set version back signal

Enter your choice(1-11): 10   ---choice the set version back signal menu

          Set  Version Back Signal Submenu 

     1. The version don't back                                                 

     2. Set the version back signal to "system start"   

     3. Set the version back signal to "backup begin"

     4. Set the version back signal to "both back"

     5. Return to main menu 

 The version don't back


Enter your choice(1-5): 1     ---choice“1”,set the don't back the version

Setting ...Done!

Step3. return the main menu and choice the Boot from CFcard

Enter your choice(1-11):2   ----choice "2" boot from cfcard 

Booting from CFcard 

         Be sure the baudrate be 9600bps!

The start file is cfcard:/V600R001C00SPC800.CC

Root Cause

We find the slave MPU version different to Master MPU. the slave MPU  for V300R003C02B697, the Master MPU version for V600R001C00SPC800,when we set the boot from new version but still use the old version start . After check the console log find don't reset the version back signal.


Booting from CFcard                                                            

         Be sure the baudrate be 9600bps!                                      

 The version back signal is (1),     ----//this means set the version back when the MPU reboot                               

 Now get back to the last file boot properly...
