question: 1) what is wdm type, see the picture, influencing / doing?
different processing on mca board when use 40g module with different mode type.to increasing the precision , we should configure the on nms.
before 2006, we used ocm module from axsun company on mca boards.just like osa, we need to set some configuration .and now we have make optimization, so we don't need to set the configuration now.but we need to compat the old boards, so we still can see the interface.
2) what is compensation power, see the picture, doing? it seems it is not possible to set it, just query, right?
this is easy to understand. mca usually connect to mon port of oa boards and the difference of power between mon port and out port is 20db as usual, so when we set compensation power as 20db,we can see the real power of output of every lambda on nms.
when we connect to mon port of m40, we should set compensation power as 10db, because the difference of power between mon port and out port is 10db.
question:why we miss some lambda sometimes ?
asnwer: when the difference of the lambda power exceed 10 db, it will not show up .so we suggest to make sure the difference of the lambda power within 6db.
the precision is not that good when we use old version mca.
we use different ocm module for mca01, when use for 40g signal, the precision is not that good, sometime may loss some lambda, but mca02 can use for both 10g and 40g.
what is the difference between mca01 and mca02? the declared 40g support seems to be untruth due to it seems both mcas are 40g capable.
explain / repair mcas behavior when m01 is occupied.
