Customer meets timeout message during ADSL provisioning on BMS N2000 server, such as Service Creation, query of Board and Adsl port and so on.
1. Test of ping during one hour with packet size of 1024, 2048 and 4096 bytes in the customer DCN network and it presents just 1% of packet loss. The fault persists.
2. Stop the requisition of SNMP and TL1 requests from the customer’s OSS. The fault persists.
2. Increase SNMP timeout value on BMS N2000 server. The fault persists.
3. As the customer was using a SUN V890 server, with 32G memory, 32 core CPU, but just assigned one database engine and one memory, that was the main reason of SQL language run slowly.
The solution for this problem was to optimize the database and also assign 8 database engines and 8G memory in the server.

Delay in the customer DCN network
Large requisition of SNMP and TL1 requests to BMS N2000 server from Customer’s OSS
SNMP timeout value of BMS N2000 server
