Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  145 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

The NMS needs to be change from ITU-T to Interleaved mode.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

We found that in the U2000V1R5 we have to change this flag following this route:
C:/U2000/client/tools/usercfgtool and execute usercfgtool.bat.
You have to select the type of database, IP address of the U2000, and password of the database of the U2000.
For example for the SQL2000 the default user and password is: sa and Changeme123.
find the line named slotmode flg adn change the flag to 1 for Interleaved, otherwise 0 for ITU-T.
After we finish we restart the server following the guide to shutdown the server U2000.

Root Cause

The flag in the etrans.cfg where you can change the timeslot mode doesnt take effect.
It is neccesary to change the flag in the database.

If you upgrade NMS version to U2000V1R5, it is very important to take in count this flag.
