Issue Description

RTN910 NE XYZ HYBRID Solution Version ( V100R002C00SPC001) get Reset again and again causing outage of One BTS. User XYZ was unable to login the NE. All boards get in sleep mode after five minutes every time when NE recovered from Reset.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

t site A NE type was RTN910 and at Site B RTN950. Order Wire was configured at site A but at site B there was no AUX board installed in RTN950 IDU so at site B order wire cannot be configured. Every time when order wire signaling is sent by site A it followed negative acknowledgement from site B, this process repeated several times a minute resulting in looping at Site A causing RTN IDU910 to Reset again and again. Order wire configuration is deleted at site A after which NE reset issue is resolved.

Root Cause

  1. There may be issue in power source causing NE reset.
  2. The power Board of NE is Faulty.
  3. FAN board of NE is faulty causing NE over temperature.
  4. There is Looping of DCC bytes.
  5. There is short circuit in IF cable connectors.
  6. There is fault in orderwire
  7. Others

If no order wire is configured on one end of a hop, opposite end should also be without order wire configuration
