A customer configure a VC4 trail between two OSN7500 SL64 boards. After a search trail the U2000 show the service as a VC4 Server trail.
When you create a service at VC-4 level between two line boards, the U2000 is going to show it like a VC4 Server Trail (that are totally full) because for the NMS service should be configure between tributary boards. The service is going to be up but for network maintenance this could be a problem. In order to solve this issue you have to create a virtual NEs at the end points. In this virtual NEs you have to create a line and a triburay board and you have to create the cross-conexion between this two boards in order to simulate the service disaggregation. After a search trail the service is going to appear like a VC4 trail.
For the NMS a service should go between two tributary boards (Ethernet, E1, E3 or STM-1 boards). Opticlals Boards above STM-1 level are considered like Line Boards. If you created a VC-12 or a VC-3 service between two line boards the U2000 is going to show this service like a discrete services. In the case you create a service at VC-4 level between two line boards, the U2000 is going to show it like a VC4 Server Trail.
When you need to create a service between two line boards create a virtual NEs in the end points then you can create the service between the two virtual NES.
