Publication Date:  2012-07-25 Views:  243 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

When tried to collect the datacollector using the feature Collect NE Data on U2000 (V1R2C01SPC100) the datacolector tool cannot add the NE on it.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

To make possible to add new NE´s to collect we need first to remove some undeleted NE´s on the datacollector database table.
1.  Download the files attached to you computer ("SQLiteSpy.exe"; "SQLiteSpy.db3")
2.  Download the file ("Datacollector.db") on the U2000 Server in the path ("/opt/U2000/server/tools/datacollector/dbfile")

3.  Open The "SQLiteSpy.exe", Select: File » Open Database.

After the "datacollector.db" file opened double click the table on the left side named "tbl_CmsNeInfo"

5.   After double cliking the table it will show the table bellow:

6.   After check all names on the table, Open the NMS and select the Collect NE data on the NE name in the table.

7.   After datacollector is opened select to erase this NE from it.

8.  After this deletion the table that had 50 NE and it was not possible to collect from the NE´s now have 49 entries and it is available to collect another NE.

PS:  Just to clarify this full process is just to clean a NE from that table in U2000, making possible to collect another datacollector from a NE that couldn´t be collected due the 50 entries limitation.

Root Cause

The U2000 Version V1R2 has a limitation off 50 NE in the database that could be add in this table.
After the first 50 NE´s that was collected and it was not deleted (on Datacollector tool ) the database stays full and we cannot add new NE`s.

After datacollection erase the NE on datacollection tool, this way it will be possible to collect every time without doing this process again.
