OSN 2500 - NSN Equipment GE Interconnection Fault

Issue Description
Customer can not establish Gigabit Ethernet interconnection between OSN 2500 and Siemens Hit 7080 (NSN).
OSN 2500 and NSN connected through STM-4 interface.
Version info:
Host software version :
SSN2EGS2 board version: 2.18    
NMS version: T2000V200R007C03

Alarm Information
No any abnormal alarms on both sides

Handling Process
1. Check version mapping.
The SSN2EGS2 board version is not match with the SCC board, the SSN2EGS2 version must be 5.33. It is recommended to upgrade all NE to last version.
2. Test making by using Ethernet analizer.
Loop NSN and Huawei equipment on optical ports, connect analyzer to Ethernet boards, test is successful.
Getting RMON performance, packet data received and transmitted at SSN2EGS2 port is normal.
Linking NSN and Huawei equipment, loopback OSN 2500 on Ethernet port, connect analyzer to Siemens hiT7080 Ethernet board, start Data Collector. We can see received and transmitted data packets on Ethernet port. But NSN does not receive packets.     

3. Enable LCAS function.
Enable LCAS function on both sides, and then make the test again. But test still failed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
4. Protocol analysis
Because both sides used GFP protocol, but NSN equipment does not support changing some parameter, we changed some parameter on NMS. When we changed verify type from FCS32 to No of GFP protocol, then test was successfully completed.

Root Cause
- Wrong configuration
- Inconsistent protocols
- Ethernet board problem

Need to use the same configuration settings on both sides. Also it is recommended to check transmitted and received data packets on ports and VC trunks.
Probably NSN does not used FCS verify type of GFP protocol. Huawei OSN 2500 equipment default setting is FCS32; after this parameter was changed, the GE service interconnection was successfully completed.
