How to Locate A Power Fault?

Issue Description

Several USG5300 devices configured with dual power supply modules arrive at an office site. After they are installed and powered on, the pow2 indicator of one USG5300 device is off.

Alarm Information


Handling Process

1.          Check the power indicator on the rear of the device. The indicator of the power supply module is off.

2.          Power on the suspected faulty power supply module. If the module cannot be powered on normally, it is faulty.

Root Cause

One power supply module is damaged.


In addition to checking the pwr indicator and the power indicator on the rear, you can power on the suspected faulty power supply module to check whether it can start up normally.
