The USG5320 Electronic Label Is Problematic

Publication Date:  2012-07-17 Views:  428 Downloads:  0

Issue Description

When a user activates a license on USG5320 V100R003, a message is displayed, stating that the ESN is incorrect and the initialization fails.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

Run the display version command to view the device version. The displayed information indicates that the device model is USG5360; however the device type corresponding to the ESN is USG5320.

Root Cause

A check indicates that the ESN displayed on the device is consistent with the ESN in the license file. The problem occurs due to another cause.

Run the display elable command to view the electronic label, and feed back the information to the R&D engineers for confirmation. If the actual device ESN is the same as that in the license file, the problem may be caused by the incorrect electronic label.
