The Web Page Cannot Be Logged In To Due To BMC Software Problems

Issue Description

When troubleshooting the RH2285, the user fails to log in on the Web page but successfully logs in on the CLI. The fault persists after power-off and power-on.

Handling Process

Log in to the BMC using the CLI. Run the reboot command to restart the BMC. The fault is rectified.

Root Cause

The BMC software is faulty.


In some cases, powering on the device board may help. In other cases, restart the BMC software.
