None

Handling Process

When the VIS maps the LUN to the HP host, set the HOST LUN ID to HOST LUN 0.Then HP-UX can detect the LUN.

Root Cause

When the HP host has no LUN with ID 0, the host fails to detect other LUNs.
When the VIS maps the LUN to the HP host, the HOST LUN ID is not set to zero and the HP host fails to detect the LUN.

Suggestions

In hp-ux 11.31, when the HP host has no LUN with ID 0, the host fails to detect other LUNs. When the VIS maps the LUN to the HP host, set the HOST LUN ID to HOST LUN 0.Then HP-UX detects the LUN. You need to configure the HP host when Huawei VIS takes over HP disk arrays.
