In an office, the N8000 cannot be logged in as user master. Log in as user support and run the df –h command. The mounted file systems are lost.
Step 1 The office is a test office and uses the temporary VCS license. The duration of the test is long and the license has expired.
Step 2 Run the date command to modify the time of each node to the time before the expiration time, and then run the reboot command.
Step 3 Use the new temporary license and run the following command to enter the new license:
Enter the usable license:
Enter your license key :XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
Step 4 Restart the nodes.
1. The N8000 system uses two RH2280s as nodes, and the S2300 as the storage device. These devices do not have any hardware faults.
2. Log in as user support and run the vxdctl -c mode command to check the node information. Mode: disabled is displayed. Run the hagrp –state command to check the cluster information. Vcs error v-16-1-10600 cannot connect to vcs engine is displayed. The two nodes have the same fault information.
3. Collect the dmesg and /var/log/message information as user support. The following information is collected:
VCS ERROR V-16-1-52531 [Licensing] VCS evaluation period has expired (Local Build: P4E9-YRNH-IJUB-K9R9-IW23-NBTX-P)
It indicates the license has expired
Check whether the license has expired for the test version.
