2.32 TC-A2032 The T3500 fails to be powered on due to the electric leakage of an external device

Issue Description

At a certain deployment site, the power running/alarm indicator of the T3500 is green on continuously when the T3500 is powered on, as shown in the red box in Figure 2-31. At the same, the disk online indicator is green on, but the system power indicator is off, as shown respectively in the red ellipse and square in Figure 2-32. The mainboard of the T3500 fails to be powered on.

Log in to the ISM. Choose Device Management > Sensor List, and the alarm shown in Figure 2-33 is displayed.

Alarm Information
Handling Process

l   Radical solution: Replace the display or USB device that has electric leakage.

l   Workarounds: Unplug the cable of the VGA or USB device before you power on the T3500, and re-plug the cable after you power on the T3500.

Root Cause
If the VGA or USB device has electric leakage before the T3500 is powered on, the internal protection mechanism of the T3500 protects the T3500 from being powered on.
