Difficult to Operate as the Application Program Self-Definedly Zooms the Resolution of Mouse Coordinates

Issue Description

On the ISM, click Start KVM and access the the WebBIOS interface of the LSI RAID card, the mouse is difficult to operate. The mouse pointer on the KVM interface does not lap over the actual mouse pointer.

Handling Process

Step 1     View the version of the Java iKVM Viewer, as shown in the red circle in Figure 2-1. Check whether the version is V1.62 or a later one.Figure 1-1  Java iKVM Viewer

l   If not, upgrade the BMC version to T300V100R002SPC004 or a later one.
1.         On the ISM interface, click Upgrade Management > Upgrade Firmware to display the Upgrade Management interface, as shown in Figure 2-2.
2.         Click Browse to select an upgrade packet.
3.         Click Upgrade to upgrade the firmware.
l   If so, go to Step 2.

Step 2     Click Options > Single Mouse (Alt Tab to Release) on the KVM interface, as shown in the red ellipse in Figure 2-1.

In this mode, the mouse is locked on the KVM interface. You can press Alt Tab to release the lock.
Step 3     On the KVM interface, check whether the mouse pointer on the KVM interface laps over the actual mouse pointer.
l   If so, the failure is removed.
l   If not, contact technical engineers.

Root Cause

In DOS or BIOS, the application program does no run in the OS employing the universal GUI, and self-definedly zooms the resolution of mouse coordinates. As a result, the system of mouse coordinates is inconsistent with that of the KVM.
