Issue Description
Related information about the product and version: the T3200 and the T3500 G2.
After creating a RAID 1 volume by two hard disks of the device, use the USB CD-ROM with external power supply to install SUSE 10.2. The booting sequence in the BIOS interface is USB, then SCSI, then SCSI, and then SCSI.
The OS installation through the USB CD-ROM is failed.

   Provide external power supply to the USB CD-ROM.


The T3200 or T3200 G2 has only two USB ports. If the power cable and data cable of the USB CD-ROM use USB ports, insert the power cable to the self-contained USB port of the T3200 or T3500 G2 and the data cable into a USB port of the USB Hub.


Root Cause
The USB CD-ROM does not use external power supply. As a result, the OS fails to be installed.
