2.10 TC-A2010 McBIOS RAID Manager Start Interface Cannot be Displayed Due to a RAID Card Fault

Issue Description

After the T3500 that is configured with the Areca RAID card starts, the McBIOS RAID manager start interface, as shown in Figure 2-14, cannot be displayed.

Handling Process

Step 1     Switch off the system power switch to power off the device and replace the faulty RAID card.
Step 2     Replace the faulty RAID card. For details, see Replacing a RAID Card in Oceanspace T3000 Storage Node Troubleshooting-(V100R001C01).
Step 3     After the replacement, switch on the system power switch to power on the T3500. If the interface, as shown in Figure 2-14 displays, the fault is removed.

l  Two steps for power-on and power-off: After receiving the power-off command, power supplies of different levels are powered off in succession; after receiving the power-on command, power supplies of different levels are powered on in succession.

l  One step for restart: After receiving the restart command, all modules are reset once. During this process, the device will not be powered off.


Root Cause

It may be caused by a RAID card fault.
