Issue Description

Related information about the product and version: the T3500
The customer installs Linux SLC 4.6 science in the T3500 that is configured with the Areca RAID card. During operation, two RAID groups in the OS reports scsi timeout.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

Modify the value of scsi timeout in the Linux SCL 4.6. For details, see 3.10 Setting the Timeout of SCSI Devices Of The T3500.

Root Cause

The value of scsi timeout in the customer's Linux SCL 4.6 is small so that when the disk response to I/O times out, the OS reports scsi timeout before the hard disk is offline.

Device removed: indicates device offline.
