VIS Cannot Discover Hard Disks as the Wrong Host Type Chose on Array

Issue Description
The incorrect setting of the host type on the disk array caused a disk discovery failure. Moreover, the VIS still cannot discover hard disks after the host type is changed to Linux.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
Step 1  Ensure that the VIS host on the disk array is Linux.
Step 2  Remove the optical fiber between the VIS and the disk array and scan for hard disks on the VIS. In this way, the VIS can delete the incorrect disk information.
Step 3  Plug in the fiber and scan for hard disks on the VIS. The VIS can discover hard disks
Root Cause
Incorrect disk information about is stored on the VIS after the disk scan. The change of host type on the disk array cannot rectify the incorrect disk information.
