Issue Description

When you access the VTL3500 by using Xmanager, the system interface is not displayed.

Handling Process

Step 1  Modify the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file.
Step 2  Add the following message in security and xdmcp of the /etc/gdm/custom.conf file.
[security]
AllowRemoteRoot=1
[xdmcp]
Port=177
Enable=1
Step 3  Modify /etc/inittab by changing id:3:initdefault: to id:5:initdefault:

Root Cause

The VTL3500 does not support the remote desktop display by default.

Suggestions

If you fail to log in to the VTL3500 on the client due to the system failure, you can log in to the system by using Xmanager for fault handling.
