T3500 fails to obtain IP addresses through the switch from the automatic deployment server

Issue Description

The T3500 and the automatic deployment server are connected to the switch. After the T3500 is restarted, the T3500 fails to obtain IP addresses during the automatic deployment. However, the automatic deployment server displays the information indicating that IP addresses are allocated.
Alarm information:
The T3500 is attempting to obtain IP addresses throughout the automatic deployment. The system cannot go to the next step.

Handling Process

Connect the T3500 directly to the automatic deployment server. Configure the GhostSrv. Select Multicast TTL and use the default value (16). Then restart the automatic deployment.

Root Cause

A fault exists on the connection between the automatic deployment server and the switch.


Perform networking tests of the automatic cloud storage deployment regularly, and release test results to customers.
