If a disk of the non-K version exists in the S5100, the disk is prone to be rejected by the RAID group.
It is recommended to replace the disks. Subsequent products may have the in-band firmware upgrade function.
Currently, you must view firmware versions of the disks in the S5100 in debug mode. There are three methods:
1. Enter the MML mode and run the dev disk 0 command to view the firmware versions of the 24 disks in enclosure 00. You can view the firmware versions of disks in other enclosures by replacing 0 with 123.
2. Run the lsscsi command to check whether disks of the non-K version exist. Run the lsscsi|grep "G" command to check whether disks of the G version exist.
3. Click the disks one by one on the OSM to view the details.
Note: The number of the disks of the G version can be quickly checked out by the second method, and the slots of the disks can be located by the first method
The number of the disks of the G version can be quickly checked out by the second method, and the slots of the disks can be located by the first method.
After the slots of the disks are located, you can confirm the result on the Web page.
