Issue Description
The S2600 is configured with a single controller. The controller version is
The write bandwidth of iSCSI applications on the Windows operating system is only 15 MB.
Alarm Information
Handling Process
Step 1  Upgrade the S2600 R2 to the latest version 107.T11.
Step 2  Set the LUN write policy to mandatory write back.
Step 3  The SANergy test proves that the read and write performance achieves 100 MB.
Root Cause
The S2600 is configured with no UPS. The default LUN policy is write through. The controller version is and the mandatory write back function is unavailable.
The LUN write through policy causes that the write performance is only 15 MB.
LUN write back: Data is written to cache first. After the cache data amount reaches the threshold, the data is flushed onto hard disks. This policy enables high write performance.
LUN write through: Data is directly written to hard disks. This policy is of slow write performance.
After an S2600 is initially configured, upgrade its controller version to the latest 107.T11.
