Why the OceanStor S2600 Runs Normally Even When Alarms are Generated on Coffer Disks?

Publication Date:  2012-07-22 Views:  3 Downloads:  0
Issue Description
On a deployment site, the S2600 is configured with single controller. After the S2600 is powered off and then powered on, an alarm is displayed on the ISM, indicating that coffer disks (0, 2) and (0, 3) are offline.
Alarm Information

Handling Process
Manually clear the alarm. The system services are not affected.
Root Cause
When the OceanStor S2600 is powered off unexpectedly, its BBUs provide power to the system temporarily. If the S2600 is configured with a single controller, the BBUs provide power only to coffer disks (0, 0) and (0, 1) and are irrelevant to coffer disks (0, 2) and (0, 3).
