Handling Process

This operation would interrupt the services, please operate with caution and back up data in advance.

Upgrade controller B after controller A is removed manually. When the upgrade completes, reinsert controller A to upgrade it automatically to the version of controller B.

Root Cause

  1. It is found that all the logon windows have exited the /cf_data directory and its subdirectories.
  2. When the command fuser -vm /cf_data/image is executed to check whether a process is accessing the directory, it is found that the cf_data/image is busy as it is being accessed during the upgrade, causing the upgrade to fail.

Make sure the cf_data/image directory is not being accessed during the upgrade. If it is being accessed, please exit it normally and then continue to upgrade.
