Application Servers Unable to Find Mapped LUNs

Issue Description

The AS using Red Hat OS has installed the UltraPath software, but duplicated disk drives are detected by scanning.

Handling Process

  1. Install a version of Red Hat that is compatible with the UltraPath on the AS.

Root Cause

  1. Access the OS of the AS in CLI mode.
  2. Run the command uname -a to view the version of the Red Hat installed on the AS.
  3. Run the command uname -r to view the kernel version of the installed Red Hat.
  4. By referring to the Oceanspace UltraPath for Linux User Guide, the version of the Red Hat installed on the AS is found to be incompatible with the UltraPath.
