During login to a VSM client, an error message is displayed, indicating that the VSM user uses an initial or expired password. This problem persists after the super user admin changes the password of the VSM user.
Step 1 Check that the VSM server software and client software function properly by logging in to the VSM client as another user.
Step 2 View user configurations on the VSM client and check whether Forbid user to change password is set to Yes, and Password valid is set to 90 days. If yes, the user does not have the permission to change the password.
Step 3 Assign the VSM user the permission for changing the password as the super user admin, and then change the password as the VSM user.
