Issue Description

Install backup software NBU6.5 for UNIX on a Linux AS4.5 server. After backup failure is solved, the server is down.

Alarm Information

Handling Process

1. Reboot backup server
2. Configure debug log level back to default
vxlogcfg -a --prodid 51216 -orgid ALL -s DebugLevel=0 -s DiagnosticLevel=0
3. Delete all directories in /usr/openv/netbackup/logs to release disk space.

Root Cause

When handle backup failure problem, debug log level is configured as the highest 6. After log analysis completion, log level is not configured back to default, so large amount of log files generated and disk is full. NBU process cannot write file and be dead, so the server is down.
