Log in the WEB interface of RH2285, click the system status in system information, and it shows the hard disk is not in the slot, but the hard disk can be identified in BIOS.
Switch the RAID 1068E or two miniSAS links in the back board, and the BMC will display the hard disk information normally.
The management system get the information of the back board such as logical version and slot information of hard disks through a master SAS link with low signal rate. So, if the two links across, the hard disk information wouldn’t be seen in BMC.
We can enter the BIOS or 1068E configure interface to check if the status of the disk is normal. If so, switch the SAS link first; if not, swap the RAID 1068E, SAS link or hard disk.
