Alarm Information

None

Handling Process

By reconnaissance, the distance of camera to terminal is nearly 100m, the video line is 75-5 coaxial cable, and directly buried under ground with and connection point in the middle of the line. The preliminary analysis is problem of line quality, and causing signal decreasing, but client reported the line was good before, so we can only doubt the head is not firm or other problem, find the cable head, find out the coaxial cable is not sealed very well, and have water in it, cut the head of both side, remake the head and seal it, problem removed, we suggest clients to use one line and buried under ground.

Root Cause

The cable head is not closed, causing water seepage after raining, and affect line quality.
