FAQ-when OceanStor S2600 configure iscsi port binding, it report error

Issue Description

A customer site S2600 deployed, engineer operates port binding with command line, it report error. Customer device is single controller configuration, the command is:
chgiscsiip -c A -p 0 -a 172.23.20.151 -s 255.255.255.0 -m 1


Alarm Information

Error chgiscsiip: The command format is wrong.
Usage: chgiscsiip -c controller ID [-p Port ID] -a IP address -s subnet mask -m config mode
Try  'clihelp -h chgiscsiip'  for more information

Handling Process

Change the command inputted like below:
OceanStor: test1> chgiscsiip -c A  -a 172.23.20.151 -s 255.255.255.0 -m 1   
This operation will lead to interrupt the service!

Root Cause

When operate service port binding with command line, the parameter used is not correct. –m 1 in command parameter is binding mode, do not input –p parameter; -m 3 is unbinding mode, it need to input –p parameter. 

Suggestions

When do port binding operation, be careful with the use of parameter, and if device is configured into combo port, it cannot do port binding operation.
