The system can’t recognize normally after inserting memory.

Handling Process

1. Every CPU appoint to 3 memory channels:
CPU1 appoint to A1、A0、B1、B0、C1 and C0
CPU2 appoint to D1、D0、E1、E0、F1 and F0
There are 6 memory channels in RH2285:
 A1、A0 form A channel
B1、B0 form B channel
C1、C0 form C channel
D1、D0 form D channel
E1、E0 form E channel
F1、F0 form F channel
And:
A0 is the main memory channel of A channel
B0 is the main memory channel of B channel
C0 is the main memory channel of C channel
D0 is the main memory channel of D channel
E0 is the main memory channel of E channel
F0 is the main memory channel of F channel
Tips: far from CPU is the main memory channel, we must start from the channel far from CPU when we configure memory. When configure a CPU alone, it must be installed in CUP1, and in A, B, C channel.

Root Cause

1. Firstly, examine the fault of memory;
2. The memory hasn’t inserted to the appointed slot.

Suggestions

For the better capability, we must use the memory from the same company and same frequency.
