Can not update signature library/antivirus database online in the UTM mode

Issue Description

Use a new USG2160 device, configured working mode to UTM, import License successfully, PC can through the USG2160 NAT access Internet. In USG2160 product, can ping pass After fill the right upgrading Server and LAC in the "upgrade center" interface of Web management interface, , click on the "manually online upgrade", but prompting that signature library/antivirus database version do not update, and fail to upgrade.

Root Cause

This problem is divided into two situations:
1, appeared in laboratory experiment or pre-sale test process: when use a non-commercial License to upgrade signature library/antivirus database online for new device, need to contact related focal point import related device information to upgrading Server (, otherwise can not online update.
2, appeared in formal delivery process: when use the commercial License, License center server will automatically synchronize device related information to upgrade Server (


After solve the problem, click “upgrade” again, the signature library/antivirus database version information update successfully
