Method one: Install the “” software in the Operating System, and re-install the multiple paths. In the FC-SAN group network environment, the multiple paths software of this version can’t become effective exclude that the Operating System has installed the “iscsi” software.
Method two: Replace the multiple paths software with an advanced version.

Root Cause

There is BUG in the version UltraPath V100R002C01SPC013. In the windows 2003 system, this version’s installation program will execute the command of the “iSCSI Initiator” to judge the host’s “Target” status, as the host doesn’t have installed the “iSCSI Initiator”, the installation program will enter in the wrong branch.

Before you installing the multiple paths of the 2.02.011 version, make sure to install the “iSCSI Initiator” firstly.
