Managing the device though the ISM, there ejects the “prompt” dialog box repeatedly, as the figure 1 displayed.
Ask the client open the port which has been forbidden in the network port of the device’s service, hereafter, the ISM hasn’t ejected the prompt box about needing the user to refresh the device manually, so the problem has been solved.
Background: The network port IP of the device’s service and the host IP of the client which is running the ISM are in the same network segment. While the status of the device changing, it will report the changed data to the ISM automatically, when this data package going through the switch, it will find the network port IP of the device’s service and the host IP of the client which is running the ISM are in the same network segment. So, the path is the optimal network path, the reported data transmits via it.
Consider as the security, the client forbids some ports of the device’s service network ports via the switch (including the 8011 port used to report the ISM data), and causes the data reporting failed. Therefore, the ISM interface ejects the prompt of the client’s data and device’s data are not accordant, and needs the user to refresh the device and acquire the newest information manually. This function is designed to make the ISM monitoring the changing event of the device’s status via the ISM creating a subscribing event while finding the device. After the ISM finding the subscribing event created with the device, in order to avoid the device’s reporting event losing, it will eject a prompt box to remind the user refreshing the device manually and acquiring the newest device information.
Make sure the connection between the client and the device is normal, and the port of the service’s network is open.
