Alarm Information

Handling Process

1, configure the client accessed address to E100E, can normal use, namely the link has no problem.
2, Debug information prompts the received DHCP message is illegal
3, Obtain packets found the DHCP offer message which was sent from DHCP server to the firewall brought option 61 (Client identifier), but our company prescribed forbid bring this option when processing the DHCP message, so the debug is illegal message. This situation need to the peer end DHCP server is configured without option 61, E100E just can be used normally.

Root Cause

1, E100E interface is anomaly.
2, DHCP server has done address binding, doesn’t allow other MAC address dialing.
3, equipment does not support this type of obtained address.

It is suggested peer end’s DHCP server cancels to configure option 61 options, or use a fixed address access.
