FAQ: Firewall enabled DHCP function, how to static binding of multiple IP MAC address?
Static address binding can be seen as a special DHCP address pool contains only one address.
Some clients may need a fixed IP address, bind client's MAC address with an IP address. When this client side of the MAC address to apply for a DHCP address, the server according to the MAC address of the client to find the corresponding fixed IP address assigned to the client. As follows:
dhcp server ip-pool 12
static-bind ip-address 184.108.40.206 mask 255.0.0.0
static-bind mac-address 121e-3132-5465
Static-bind ip-address and static-bind mac-address command must be used in conjunction, and, if executed multiple times, the new configuration will overwrite the original configuration. This global static address binding can only bind to one address. If you want to bind multiple IP MAC address, you can enable the DHCP server based on the address of the interface. As follows:
ip address 220.127.116.11 255.0.0.0
dhcp select interface
dhcp server static-bind ip-address 18.104.22.168 mac-address 0021-1352-4313
dhcp server static-bind ip-address 22.214.171.124 mac-address 123e-6423-1233
dhcp server static-bind ip-address 126.96.36.199 mac-address 123d-6476-1315
Using DHCP static address binding function on interface, you can bind multiple IP MAC, so that the client can get to the specified IP address.
Use DHCP to assign addresses automatically, you need to enable DHCP ---- the DHCP ENABLE on the global view.
